Tanya Landman's Buffalo Soldier is long listed for the Carnegie Medal

The bunting is up in Fraser Ross Towers for Tanya Landman, whose remarkable novel, Buffalo Soldier, has been longlisted for The Carnegie Medal. Tanya is no stranger to the Carnegie Medal - her first YA novel, Apache, was shortlisted in 2008. It didn't win the medal, but it was voted the favourite by the Shadowing Groups all over the UK.
